Terms of service
Last updated August 2026
The agreement between you and Aurum EA Lab. Plain language, no hidden clauses.
1. What we provide
We provide algorithmic trading software (“robots”), hosting of that software on a virtual private server, setup and configuration on a trading account you control, and a dashboard for monitoring its activity. We do not provide investment advice, portfolio management, custody of funds, or any guarantee of profit.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts.
- You must not be resident in a jurisdiction where use of this service is prohibited.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- Accounts are personal. Do not share your credentials.
3. Account access and permissions
To operate a robot we require trading permission on your MetaTrader account. Your trading password is stored encrypted and is decrypted by our staff only to install and configure the robot; each access is recorded in an audit log. We do not require, request or accept withdrawal credentials, broker client-area logins, or payment details for your broker. You may revoke our access at any time from your dashboard; upon revocation the robot ceases to open new positions immediately.
4. Fees and billing
- One robot is free, on demo or live, hosted by us.
- Additional robots are billed monthly in advance. We do not charge a performance fee and take no share of your trading profits.
- We receive compensation from our recommended broker based on the trading volume of accounts introduced to them. This is disclosed on our pricing page.
- You may cancel at any time; the service continues until the end of the paid period.
- Fees already paid for an elapsed period are non-refundable.
- Broker costs — spread, commission, swap — are payable to your broker and are not ours to refund.
- VPS hosting for your robots is included; you do not rent it separately.
5. Your responsibilities
- Choosing an allocation size appropriate to your circumstances.
- Maintaining sufficient margin in your account.
- Reviewing your dashboard periodically and reporting anomalies promptly.
- Complying with your broker’s terms and with tax obligations in your jurisdiction.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, broker insolvency, platform outages, or events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, attempts to reverse-engineer or redistribute our software, or is used for unlawful purposes. We may also suspend a robot globally if we believe continued operation presents an unacceptable risk to clients — for example during a suspected software defect or a broker execution failure. We will tell you why.
8. Intellectual property
The robots, dashboard and all associated materials remain our property. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use them for the duration of your subscription. You may not copy, decompile, resell or sublicense them.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect, and continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Aurum EA Lab is incorporated. Insert your jurisdiction and dispute-resolution mechanism here before publication, with legal advice.
